QED Reference HDMI Cable

The QED Reference HDMI delivers the best possible HDMI signal, thanks to developments such as QED's unique Band Pass Filter technology, handling high speed digital signals with ultra low jitter for the most accurate timing of picture data available. It supports Deep Colour, 3D and 4K video, greatly exceeding the requirements of the latest HDMI 2.0 specification.

High speed HDMI, as defined by the HDMI Authorised Test Centre, is considered to be 10.2 Gb/s, but QED Reference HDMI can manage a whole 21.9 Gb/s, giving it nearly five times the capacity required for a Full HD or 3D picture, and making it more than capable of handling 4K content.

The Reference HDMI uses Band-pass Filter Technology with a built-in passive bandpass filter (placed at the TV end), which removes components of the signal above and below the HDMI band pass frequency which can contribute to unwanted timing errors, known as 'jitter'. The directional nature of the cable allows Reference HDMI to have thinner cordage, with improved flexibility and minimum bend radius, so it can be used in tight spaces between the TV or projector and the wall.
