Superfi is a go-ahead, friendly, family business with eight stores and a busy website. We now require a Sales Assistant for our friendly and successful store situated in London on Camden High Street. We specialize in hifi, home cinema, speakers, blue-tooth devices, headphones, TV and accessories.

Duties will include, but are not limited to, assisting in the successful running of the shop. These duties will also include stock management, demonstrating and selling our fantastic products, general upkeep and cleaning of store and staff areas. This is a hands on role and you will be a friendly team player who understands the needs of the business and will also be an excellent communicator in order to advise customers and staff.

Position Requirements are as follows:

Essential Skills & Attributes:

  • Must have experience of working within a sales driven environment, working to targets and commission based sales
  • Must have GCSE or equivalent in C grade or above in Maths and English
  • Previous background in customer service and dealing with members of the public and their complaints (on the telephone and face to face)

Desirable Skills & Attributes:

  • Demonstrates a calm and professional manner
  • Experience of stock control and investigating stock issues
  • Working knowledge of hi-fi systems,music streaming & home cinema
  • Can demonstrate great attention to detail

Only applicants with the essential skills listed above will be considered for this role.
Salary negotiable up to £19,000 pa basic, plus uncapped commission based on achievement of targets.

Hours of work are 40 per week, 5 out of 7 days. Staff discount available. Full training given.

Superfi is one of the UK’s largest hi-fi and home cinema specialists. We are a third generation family run business that’s been trading since 1929, we have 8 shops and a very busy website.

We are currently looking for a Senior Web Content Administrator to join our friendly Web team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products are uploaded to partner websites such as Tesco & eBay and they will also work closely with our front and back end developer to ensure any website related errors are resolved quickly. The successful candidate will also be responsible for writing exciting and engaging product descriptions, writing content for social media campaigns and for creating special offers & deals landing pages using HTML & CSS.

Duties will include:

  • Creating product listings for our own website, and other on-line sales channels
  • Checking web pages for accuracy - both in content and grammar
  • Producing content for our social media pages, setting up competitions on Facebook and Twitter and engaging with customers via social media platforms
  • Designing and creating marketing banners for our website using Adobe Photoshop
  • Working in accordance with SEO best practice

The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes...

ESSENTIAL:

  • High level of computer literacy and an ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop
  • Good working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Have the ability to work to tight deadlines and produce high quality work
  • Be able to communicate confidently both in person and in writing to senior management and business partners
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role

DESIRABLE:

  • Experience using Adobe Flash
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of MSSQL or equivalent database system
  • An interest in Hifi and Home Cinema
  • Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and other relevant data processing tools
  • A background in E-commerce or retail

Hours of work are 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, Salary is dependent upon experience up to £25,000 plus pension.
