The Snooper Syrius SC5900 DVR is a great co-pilot combining navigation, dash cam surveillance and speed limit detection. The multi-route technology can find routes with multiple destinations, while the built-in dash cam is essential for any insurance claim as it provides valuable evidence should you be involved in an accident or accused of causing one.

Built-in dash camera

The Snooper SC5900 DVR continuously records and saves video footage of any vehicle incidents you may encounter negotiating Europe’s vast road network, providing ideal video evidence for any insurance claim.

Continuous video loop recording

The device continuously records the view in front of your vehicle and any sounds from inside the vehicle with its built-in microphone. Old data automatically overwrites and can be downloaded to your PC via our Snooper Player.

Custom navigation

Search and navigate by motorway junction numbers or postcode using the updated ‘Find My Map’ function. Once you’ve selected a route, choose between the quickest and shortest route available, with options available that avoid toll roads or motorways. You also have the option to save up to 16 multiple bespoke routes.

Points of interest

If you’re looking for a quick stop or a cash machine, the SC5900 DVR shows selected points of interest (POIs) on screen while navigating to your destination. Choose to search from our extensive list of POIs, including hotels, restaurants, and petrol stations, using our new ‘corridor’ search facility to search along your pre-programmed route.

Compact five-inch LCD display

The high-resolution, bright, five-inch touchscreen makes for easy viewing of navigational instructions. Increase the on-screen display size of road names and numbers, making them easier to read for safer and easier navigation. Choose between 10 different colour configurations for the navigation display.

Junction and lane guidance

Full-screen images of main motorway junctions are displayed in advance to help drivers navigate more safely, while specially formulated software provides advanced notice of which lane or lanes to use when approaching a junction.

My-Speed

Stay within the legal speed limit with the Snooper SC5900 DVR. Speed limits across Europe will appear for cars and advisory speed limits for vehicles weighing 3.5t and over.

Premium traffic management content

Receive accurate and reliable traffic information free of charge. Data is fed from hundreds of thousands of vehicles and sensors across the country, providing up-to-the-second information on traffic incidents and congestion.

Reversing camera compatibility

SC5900 DVR allows the device to be linked up to a Snooper reversing camera for assistance with tricky manoeuvres.
