The Audio-Technica AT-LP1240-USB is a powerful turntable with a host of useful features. It has a direct drive system for fast start-up times and responsive speed changes, 33, 45 & 78 rpm playback and variable pitch control.
It also features multiple outputs. With a digital USB output for recording your vinyl collection to your PC (Audacity software is included) and a stereo analogue output with an integrated (switch-able) pre-amp, allowing the turntable to be connected to any amplifier via either a standard stereo line input or a dedicated phono input. It also features a cast aluminium platter with slip mat, pop-up stylus targeting light and a host of playback controls including 33, 45 and 78 speeds, selectable +/-10% or +/-20% pitch adjustment and forwards and reverse playback.
