Superfi is one of the UK’s largest hi-fi and home cinema specialists. We’re part of a family run business that’s been trading since 1929, and in this day and age you don’t last that long unless you know a thing or two about your products!

We are currently looking for a Web Content Assistant to join our friendly Web team. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing exciting and engaging content for products listings, editing product images using Adobe Photoshop and writing content for email marketing and social media campaigns.

Duties will include:

  • Creating on-line product listings for our own website, and other on-line sales channels
  • Checking web pages for accuracy - both in content and grammar
  • Working in accordance with SEO best practice
  • Updating social media pages and engaging with customers via social media channels
  • Creating landing pages for the website using HTML/CSS

The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes...

ESSENTIAL:

  • High level of computer literacy and an ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Have the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Produce high quality work
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills

DESIRABLE:

  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of MSSQL or equivalent database system
  • An interest in hifi and home cinema
  • Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and other relevant data processing tools
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A background in E-commerce or retail

London Senior Sales Assistant

Senior Sales Assistant
Hours of work are 40 per week, 5 out of 7 days

Superfi is a go-ahead, friendly, family business with eight stores and a busy website. We now require a Senior Sales Assistant for our friendly and successful store situated in Camden across the road from Mornington Crescent Underground station and a short walk from Kings Cross and Euston stations. We specialize in hifi, home cinema, speakers, blue-tooth devices, headphones, TV and accessories.

Duties will include, but are not limited to, assisting the Manager & Assistant Manager in the successful running of the shop. These duties will also include cashing up, stock management, demonstrating and selling our fantastic products, general upkeep and cleaning of store and staff areas. This is a hands on role and you will be a friendly team player who understands the needs of the business and will also be an excellent communicator in order to advise customers and staff.

Position Requirements are as follows:

Essential Skills & Attributes:

  • Must have experience of working within a sales driven environment, working to targets and commission based sales
  • Experience of cashing up and dealing with till queries
  • Must have GCSE or equivalent in C grade or above in Maths and English
  • Previous background in customer service and dealing with members of the public and their complaints (on the telephone and face to face)

Desirable Skills & attributes:

  • Demonstrates a calm and professional manner
  • Experience of stock control and investigating stock issues
  • Working knowledge of hi-fi systems,music streaming & home cinema
  • Can demonstrate great attention to detail

Salary negotiable up to £19,000 basic dependent upon experience, plus uncapped commission based on achievement of targets.

  Custom Install Audio Visual Technicians

Custom Install Audio Visual Technicians

As part of our progression into the custom install market, we are now looking for self employed audio visual installers or companies to support our network of branches.

Carrying out pre-site surveys and first fix installs right through to programming of products and systems, you will have experience in installing automation, audio , visual and related systems in residential and commercial projects. You will also have experience in controlled multi-room systems and network infrastructure.

To be part of our installation network you must have the following:

  • A minimum of three years experience in installing audio/visual products.
  • Experience of installing and programming home automation systems including Control4.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills
  • A positive can do attitude
