The Marantz MCR603 is a sophisticated micro system packed
full of modern features, which guarantees a very high
standard of performance from all of your music, however it's
stored. If you want a high quality all-in-one tabletop
solution, look no further.
At the heart of the MCR603 is a 2 x 60 watt amplifier,
delivering hugely impressive power for a compact micro
system. Dual speaker outputs mean that you can drive a
second set of speakers in another room or you can bi-amp a
single pair of speakers for an even better sound. The MCR603
offers remarkable functionality, with a vast array of
playback options. The integrated CD player supports CD-R and
CD-RW, plus MP3 and WMA files. These files can also be
played from compatible memory sticks, flash drives or
portable MP3 players via the handy front panel USB socket,
which also supports direct digital connection from iPods and
iPhones.

The MCR603 really excels at networking, too. Connect the system to
your home network and internet connection, and you'll be able to
receive thousands of Internet Radio stations, and access online
services such as Napster and Last.fm. You can even stream music,
including FLAC, MP3, AAC, WMA and WAV files, from a networked
computer, NAS drive or other compatible DLNA device - great if you
have a large portable music collection. Airplay support means that
you can stream movies, music and photos directly from iPhones,
iPads, iPod Touches and computers with iTunes.
In addition there are also DAB (supporting future DAB+ broadcasts),
FM and AM tuners. You'll never be short of something to listen to
with this system. With an optical digital input too, you could even
connect your TV and enjoy its sound through the '603.
But where the MCR603 really delights is in it's sound quality,
effortlessly ensuring a clean, rich sound with incredible detail and
balance.
Ideal for those who want a compact system without compromising on
performance, functionality and usability, the Marantz MCR603's
advanced features and sweet sound make it a real winner.
You can also add the
RX101
Bluetooth Adaptor enabling you to wirelessly stream music from
your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, MP3 player or laptop (see the
