A hifi system usually means a stack of separates, and then there's a separate home cinema system to consider. If you don't have the space or don't want the clutter, TEAC have the answer, the feature packed yet affordable DR-H358i.
This compact micro system features an integrated DVD player and delivers superb upscaled 1080p high definition pictures via its HDMI connection. For older TVs there's also component, Scart and composite video outputs. It will even play DivX movies from disc or connected USB devices. The system also fulfils the hifi role, playing CDs, including CD-R/-RW discs created on a computer, and will also play MP3 and WMA files from disc or USB flash drives, memory sticks or portable hard drives.
If all this wasn't entertaining enough, there's also an integrated DAB/FM tuner with RDS, and an included iPod dock which lets you charge your Pod, listen to its music and control it using the system's remote control.
With an integrated 2 x 50 watt amplifier, the DRH358 also delivers a punchy and hugely enjoyable sound. Match with your own choice of speakers and you'll soon be enjoying both super home cinema and fantastic hifi sound from one compact system. Good things really do come in small packages
