Another addition to Arcam's rSeries, the Arcam rPhono allows your add a turntable to your current amplifier or replace an in-built phono stage. With Arcam's analogue audio experience spanning more than four decades, they have used their knowledge to develop a high quality phono amplifier that will get the most out of any turntable in any system.
To minimize distortion and unwanted noise, Arcam use the finest circuitry in a multilayer Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design reducing interference between parts. By using multiple low-noise power supplies, the rPhono delivers a clean signal and audiophile quality output. Using high quality precision components that deliver an accomplished RIAA response, the rPhono is a class-leading phono stage that will boost the quality of your turntable's output.
Designed to work perfectly with your turntable's cartridge, the rPhono works seamlessly with either moving magnet or coil cartridges and is customisable to suit your preferred setup. For moving magnet (MM), the rPhono gives you the option to customise the capacitance to suit your cartridge with a wide selection of options available. The options include 120pF, 220pF, 340pF, and 440pF. By changing these, you're able to get the most out of your chosen cartridge and enjoy your vinyl as intended. For moving coil (MC), the rPhono includes adjustable precision impedance matching input that ranges from 50-550 Ohms via high quality trimmers rather than discrete steps. For both MM and MC users, the rPhono is also equipped with an optional with a low frequency 'rumble' filter that reduces the effects from warped vinyl or irregularities in pressing during playback.
In a stylish and compact aluminium casing, the rPhono is the ideal addition to improve on any existing Hi-Fi system.
