The Cocktail Audio X10 is a great way to store and share all your music. Connected to JBL Control 1 speakers it offers a great music centre.
1 x JBL CONTROL 1 SPEAKERS (PAIR)The JBL Control 1 Speakers are ruggedly built and great sounding compact bookshelf speakers which are ideal for use as discreet stereo speakers, as satellites in a home cinema surround sound system or as desktop speakers for use with a computer audio system.
With detachable grilles and their touch plastic casing, the Controls are built to last and, with their compact size and the included wall bracket, they're ideal for wall-mounting.
Their 2-way design, consisting of a 5 ¼" (13cm) bass/midrange woofer and a ½" (1.3cm) tweeter, also features a front-firing bass port for improved low-end performance. For a compact speaker, these JBLs pack a real punch.
1 x COCKTAIL AUDIO X10 MEDIA PLAYER AND SERVERThe Cocktail Audio X10 has the same compact size as an ordinary mini system, but offers so much more. It can give you instant access to your entire CD collection and thousands of Internet radio stations, plus access your network to playback music stored on devices such as your computer.
You can choose to have it with no hard drive for use as a media client, or with hard drive options of up to an incredible 2 terabytes, it can easily store your entire CD collection (the X10 can store up to an amazing 30,000 CDs*)
Just load a CD via the high speed, front loading CD drive, and rip it to the hard drive. Simple as that. You can then easily search by artist, album or genre via the 3.5" colour LCD display. The X-10 can record in a variety of formats, too (such as WAV, MP3, WMA and FLAC).
Connect the Cocktail Audio X-10 to the internet and you will have access to a ready CD database for easy labelling when ripping your CDs. You can also access thousands of internet radio stations, and even record your favourite internet radio programme to the hard drive.
Not only that, but connect it to your network and the Cocktail Audio X10 acts as a music server for easy, instant streaming of your music stored on other devices such as PC, laptop or network attached storage (NAS) device. And it works with Sonos systems, too. You can do all this wirelessly, with the optional
wireless adaptor (see the accessories tab above). Or you can connect a turntable, cassette player or minidisc to the X10's line-in socket and record your old media to the hard drive - an easy, convenient solution to archiving your vinyl and cassettes.
Thanks to it's integral 2 x 30 watt amplifier, you can hook it straight into your choice of speakers. Alternatively, you can connect it into your exisiting hifi system via the stereo line out, or into a DAC and amp via the optical output.
For a compact, convenient media player and server with huge flexibility to fit into any system, it's hard to beat the Cocktail Audio X10.
