|The TXNR414 is an affordable yet remarkably high spec, 5.1, networked, 3D ready home cinema receiver. Now you can enjoy awesome surround sound even if you're on a budget.
The TXNR414 is the first of the 2012 Onkyo range to be networked, so through your home broadband you can source audio from your (DLNA-certified) computer, laptop or network attached storage (NAS) device. Plus, you can stream thousands of Internet radio stations (via the vTuner platform), subscribe to online services such as Spotify, Lastfm and SIMFY, and access your tracks stored on MP3tunes' 'Cloud Locker'. It can all be done with a wireless connection to your router, with the optional UWF1 wireless adaptor (see accessories tab above).
With Onkyo's own Wide Range Amplifier Technology (WRAT) the TXNR414 has the sort of fidelity you would expect from more expensive machines. High quality digital to analogue converters keep the sound clean and smooth and Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS-HD High Resolution Audio encoding are all handled with ease.

You can even use smartphones (iPhone and Android) or the iPod Touch to control the TXNR414. Simply download the app to use your phone as a remote. Onkyo's new InstaPrevue technology offers a picture-in-picture HDMI input source preview system that greatly simplifies the operation of your home cinema.
Six HDMI inputs mean you can connect multiple sources, such as 3D ready Blu-ray players, Sky HD and games consoles. The v1.4 HDMI connections also support audio return from compatible televisions, meaning less cables and broadcasts can sound just as good as everything else. The TXNR414 has AM radio and FM tuning with RDS and Radiotext, and a front USB port for playing back content on USB drives and direct digital playback from iPods and iPhones. There really is no limit to what you can listen to. And with the Zone 2 line-outs, you can playback different sources in another room with a second amplifier and speakers.
If you're looking for a feature packed home cinema receiver with networking and a great price, then the Onkyo TXNR414 is just for you. Back to Top
