Our new order tracking system is now live, providing you with easier access to information about your order.
To keep the system simple there is very little change to
the order process. The only addition is that, when you place an order, you will
be asked to input a username and password which will give you direct access to
your account. Once this has been done, you can use your login details
to keep up to date over the Internet, no matter where you are, and save time with
future orders.
How it works:
Every time there is a change in your order's status, an
Email will be sent to you informing you of this and inviting you to log in to
your account.
At present there are four generic statuses:
1) Order received - this is automatically activated
after your order is confirmed on our secure server
2) Order In-Process - this lets you know that one
of us has read your order details and is processing it
3) Order partially dispatched - a part of your
order has been sent, but a part is yet to be dispatched
4) Order dispatched - your order has been
dispatched in its entirety
Other information will include the courier and consignment
number of all orders where available, enabling you to get in contact with your
local depot should you require information on a consignment's progress once it's
been sent.
In addition, where we have specific information, we can
also add this via a "free text field" to your account, enabling us to
give you detailed feedback when necessary. The
only limitation is that we are unable to apply tracking to orders placed before
9:30am on 16th July 2002.
We hope that this new system will make ordering from us
even easier and that it will keep you better informed than ever.
If you have any comments about this, I would welcome your
feedback. Please contact me
