It connects to your hifi/home cinema system via analogue stereo or coaxial digital connection, and to your home network either via wired Ethernet or wirelessly.
Once hooked up and connected, you'll be able to stream MP3, WMA (Windows Media Audio), WAV and AAC (iTunes) files straight from your computer, laptop or media server to your hifi/home cinema system. Not only that, but if you also have a broadband Internet connection, the NP1100 will let you listen to hundreds of Internet radio stations.
Also featuring a headphone socket and a handy remote control, if you want to combine the quality of your hifi system with the flexibility and storage of your computer, the Philips Streamium NP1100 is a simple and easy way to do it.
