The Pioneer AVIC-F500BT is a fully featured in-car entertainment, satellite navigation (Sat-Nav) and mobile phone hands-free kit in one. It sits on your dashboard and works along side you car's existing audio/stereo system, so there's no need to make any big changes to your car.
With more features than you can shake a stick at, the AVIC F500BT features a 5.8" colour, touch-screen interface which gives you easy control over its many functions. Firstly there is fantastic media playback; you can play MP3, WMA (Windows Media Audio), AAC (iTunes) and WAV music files, and even MPEG-4 and AVI movie files from either compatible USB memory sticks/flash drives, or from SD/SDHC memory cards plugged into the handy side slot. You can also attach other audio devices such as iPods and portable MP3 players to the system using its side stereo minijack connection. Secondly the AVICF500BT gives you a sophisticated Sat-Nav system with 2D or 3D display, traffic information and clear voice guidance. Finally, On top of all this, there's also integrated Bluetooth so you can connect compatible mobile phones, allowing you to make and receive calls through you car's audio system and the AVIC-F500BT's built-in microphone, plus control your phone from the easy to use touch-screen interface. You can even transfer you phone's contact information to the F500BT for easy dialling.
The package contains an impressive MOSFET 4 channel amplifier (ND-G500), the AVIC-F500BT main unit and a handy dashboard-mounting cradle. The amp acts a gateway between your car's existing audio system and your car's speakers, so it can also improve the quality of your existing system too.
