The Yamaha RX-V1065 brings not only useful features and ultra-reliable build to the high-end home cinema market, but also a fuller, warmer and more detailed sound than many of its rivals can dream of. Yamaha's RXV1065 receiver is first and foremost a great sounding amplifier, designed to suit the UK market and offering a sound less brash and harsh than some of its competitors, it's sure to win many, many fans.
Featuring HDMI v1.3a connectivity, supporting 'Deep Colour', 1080p resolutions, 24 frames per second 'native film' format, upconversion and upscaling from all inputs 1080p, the RX-V1065 has fantastic video performance. Component video, S-Video and composite video inputs and outputs also ensure compatibility with older equipment.
High Definition audio is certainly no problem for the RXV1065. It will decode Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio and High Resolution Audio. 7.1 channel linear PCM up to 192Khz is also supported. There's also a 7.1 analogue input for SACD or Blu-ray players that don't send high-definition audio over HDMI.
Also featuring auto-microphone calibration and 7 x 105 watts of digital 'ToP-ART' amplification, which delivers superior performance through a combination of high-grade, carefully selected components, customised circuitry and high current capacity.
If you're in the market for an amplifier upgrade but have found that many of the big name amplifiers currently available sound too bright or aggressive for your tastes, give the RXV1065 serious consideration.
