The KEF KHT5005.2W is the latest in a series of highly-rated, stylish, high-quality home cinema speaker systems, built to blend in to your home whilst delivering reference home cinema performance.
Featuring five stylish column-shaped satellites, that'll mount on your walls or sit atop shelves, you'll be immersed in a full-range soundstage that'll impress with music as well as movies. Thanks to KEF's "Uni-Q" driver technology - where the high-frequency tweeter is aligned in the centre of the lower frequency driver, you'll enjoy superior imaging - so critical to a realistic "out-of-the-box" sound.
And the subwoofer is particularly special. It's a perfect Kube! Suitable for use in a variety of set-ups, the symmetrical Kef Kube 2 subwoofer certainly looks the part, thanks to its sleek black styling and gloss-topped finish.
The Kube 2 features an integrated 200 watt digital amplifier, a 250mm long throw driver and second 250mm auxiliary bass radiator. This results in full bass performance, delivering cracking action to your home cinema.
Finally, the cherry on the cake is the addition of KEF's wireless rear adaptor system. Each of the rear speakers sits in a perfectly matched "shoe" which houses a wireless receiver. No more trailing wires round your living room! The speakers connect to local mains sockets instead and the sound is transmitted from the supplied adaptor - which is completely compatible with any AV receiver's rear speaker outputs. Brilliant!
