The Sony BDP-S373 is a Blu-Ray and DVD player which also supports CD, JPEG, MP3 and the AVC-HD high definition video formats. With a compact, sleek design, fast operation and fantastic picture quality, the BDPS373 is a great value Blu-ray player.
The BDP-S373 delivers high definition 1080p video from Blu-ray discs and upscales DVDs, creating an incredibly stable image on your HD ready flatscreen. The player also supports video at 24 frames per second for a more film-like experience.
The Sony BDP-S373 also boasts high definition audio playback with Dolby Digital and DTS Neo:6 and 5.1 and 7.1 channel output of the highest quality soundtracks via its HDMI output, delivering the best movie sound to your sound-system. If your amplifier can't process HDMI audio the BDPS373 is equipped with coaxial and optical digital outputs.
Connect the BDPS373 to your home network through its ethernet connection, or wirelessly with the optional UWA-BR100 wireless adaptor and you can download BD-Live content such as games, deleted scenes or trailers for compatible discs. With internet access you can also watch streaming video- such as iPlayer or Channel 5 television on demand, YouTube or movies- through Sony's Bravia internet video service.
All of this can be easily controlled, either using Sony's intuitive XrossMediaBar graphic menu screens or through the touch screen of your iPhone.
