The Aktimate Maxi Stereo Speakers by Epoz are perfect for iPod lovers or those wanting a pair of discreet desktop/bookshelf speakers for networked or independent listening. Unlike most bookshelf sized speakers, the Aktimate Maxis feature a built in amplifier meaning that you just plug them into the mains, plug in your iPod or other source and you're away - no need for a separate external amplifier.
Epoz's Aktimate Maxis feature an integrated 2 x 60 watt amplifier which produces a punchy and enjoyable sound. Additionally, the Aktimates' stereo line out socket allows you to add a subwoofer or another pair of stereo speakers.
On the top of one speaker is an iPod dock allowing you to pop in your iPod and instantly enjoy your music. Your iPod will charge whilst connected and you can even control it using the supplied remote control. iPod Shuffle and non-iPod MP3 players can be connected through the speakers' mini jack socket and there are two stereo line in sockets so you can your connect devices such as computers, CD/DVD players and tuners. There's also a USB socket so you can charge your portable player directly from the speakers. If you have a home network with a computer connected to the internet the Maxis will play internet radio or stream music wirelessly.
