The Acoustic Solutions CAMP-1 budget, remote controlled amplifier with iPod dock is an affordable solution for those wanting decent quality sound from an amp that doesn't cost the Earth.
Ideal as a first entry into the world of separates, the CAMP-1 may not deliver the highest levels of fidelity, but its performance is very enjoyable and surprisingly full and detailed. There's also enough power on tap to cope with the more demanding music tracks and higher volume levels.
With digitally controlled volume, bass, treble and balance, 5 stereo inputs including a turntable (phono) input and a tape loop, the CAMP1 is both easy to use and versatile, allowing you to connect multiple devices and switch between them with ease. The included iPod dock not only charges your docked iPod, but lets you enjoy its stored music through the amp and your speakers.
If you're after a budget amp, the Acoustic Solutions CAMP-1's good connectivity, easy remote control functionality, enjoyable performance and attractive gloss black/silver design make it terrific bargain buy.
