The BD-P1580 is sleek and discreet but you won't be looking at the aesthetics once the player starts to deliver its amazing full HD 1080p imagery which is super-sharp and finely detailed. The BD-P1580 supports HD Audio formats such as DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD for an incredible soundtrack experience. The BD-P1580 lets you enhance your viewing experience with BD-Live internet-based Blu-ray functions such as the downloading of trailers and extra material and Bonusview features such as picture in picture (PIP) modes. For example, while you watch a movie, the director appears in a small window in the corner of the screen and gives you simultaneous commentary.
You also get DivX (the popular movie format often shared over the Internet), MP3 music and JPEG photo playback from disc or compatible USB devices.
