Many portable radios can be run from batteries, as can the Roberts Ecologic 2. However, the Eco-2 has an extra trick up its sleeve - it can also recharge standard NiMH AA batteries, so whenever you plug it into a wall socket, your batteries will recharge!
The Ecologic-2 features both DAB and FM reception and also has RDS and RadioText for FM. 10 presets give you quick access to all your favourite stations and the large illuminated LCD display makes operating the radio via its menu driven system really easy.
Great sound, an attractive, tough design and useful recharging facilities make this a great little radio.
