The Topfield TF7710 is a free to air satellite receiver with personal video recording, 250GB hard disc, high definition output and an easy to use Electronic Programmes Guide (EPG). Dual tuners even allow you to record one channel whilst watching another or record two channels simultaneously.
With support for standard and high definition (up to 1080i) and both HDMI and component video outputs, the TF 7710 brings HDTV straight into your living room. So it has good picture quality, but what about sound you ask? Using optical digital output, the TF7710 will deliver Dolby Digital sound (when available from the broadcast), perfect for home cinema. A Common Interface (CI) slot also allows you to use pay per view subscription cards for an even wider choice of channels.
The Personal Video Recorder (PVR) functions give you amazing flexibility. You can record programmes instantly, simply by hitting the record button or you can set up timer recordings by either manually entering the time and date settings or selecting the programme from the broadcaster's EPG. Not only that but you can also pause and rewind live TV. Pause the programme while you make a cup of tea or rewind a few minutes if you weren't paying attention. An extremely useful feature!
DivX and MP3 playback and a handy USB socket allow you to transfer movies and music from your computer via a memory stick and watch/listen to them on your TV directly from the TF-7710.
Bags of functionality but still simple and easy to use, the Topfield TF7710 offers HDTV and a huge range of channels for your enjoyment.
