A new era of high definition entertainment has arrived. The Blu-ray disc format has brought 720/1080p imagery and HD audio to our living rooms, and Freesat satellite services such as BBC-HD and ITV-HD are now broadcasting HD content. Panasonic now bring you the amazing DMR-BS750 which not only lets you watch Blu-ray movies, but receive HD Freesat broadcasts and record them to Blu-ray disc or the built-in hard disc. You can even pause live Freesat TV and, thanks to its twin tuner design, you can even record two programmes at once.
Blu-Ray performance is top-notch, supporting up to 1080p video, further enhanced with Panasonic's PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus system, and Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio HD formats. Movies have never looked as good as this. Plus with the DMRBS750's Internet capabilities, you can access special BD-Live features and even use the built-in Viera Cast system to access online YouTube movies and Picassa photos. If that weren't enough there's also an SD card slot for viewing photos from your digital camera and a USB socket for playback of DivX movies and MP3 music from memory sticks or portable MP3 players. You can even copy these files to the hard disc allowing you to use the player as a JukeBox.
The high definition recording abilities of the DMRBS750 are revolutionary. Its built-in 250GB hard disc lets you record 37 hours of content in full HD lossless quality, or you can opt for various levels of compression, the highest allowing up to 120 hours to be recorded. You can also record in HD quality to BD-R/BD-RE recordable Blu-ray discs or in standard definition to recordable DVDs - perfect for sharing your recordings with friends who don't have a Blu-ray player. You can even record full 5.1 Dolby Digital/Plus soundtracks where broadcast. With its easy to use EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) and advanced Freesat+ features, the DMR BS750 also makes setting timer recordings and series recordings a piece of cake.
