Onkyo's affordable home cinema receivers have gained a reputation for performance and functionality. The TX-SR307 is a budget receiver which delivers high definition pictures and 5.1 channel surround sound that will let you enjoy all your movies, satellite TV and music in all their glory.
With 3 HDMI inputs, supporting pass-through of video up to 1080p HD resolutions, the '307 will relay pictures from your Blu-ray or upscaling DVD player, Freeview/Freesat or Sky+ box and games console and allow you to easily switch between them at the touch of a button. With 2 optical and 1 coaxial digital inputs, 5.1 Dolby Digital and DTS can also be decoded on-board so you'll also get a terrific sounding movie soundtrack.
The TX-SR307 also features the Audyssey 2EQ and Dynamic EQ auto-microphone calibration systems. This makes setting up and fine-tuning your speaker system a doddle. It will even correct for distortions caused by room shapes and furniture, ensuring the best listening experience possible for your living room.
All this, plus full remote control operation, a handy front panel stereo input for iPods or portable MP3 players and an extra set of stereo speaker outputs allowing you to add a pair of speakers in a second room. Superb performance and functionality make this a great budget receiver.
