The Yamaha CD-S1000 is a solidly built Super Audio CD and CD player. Its stylish design and delightful performance make it a very desirable separate which won't break the bank.
Designed using high-quality components, the CDS1000 features high-grade Burr-Brown differential digital to analogue converters (DACs) for the left/right channels for precise conversion and faithful reproduction, a silent synchro-mesh loading mechanism with die-cast aluminium tray, physically separated and independent circuitry to reduce interference between the separate stages, and even specially designed, height adjustable solid steel feet for vibration damping.
It's not only CDs that the CD-S1000 can play, but also Super Audio CDs (SA-CD), CD-R/-RW discs created on a computer and MP3 and WMA (Windows Media Audio) encoded discs.
Perfectly matched with the Yamaha A-S1000 amplifier, but perfect for use with any other amp or receiver, the CDS1000's thoughtful design allows it to deliver a wonderfully pure and musical rendition which will keep you listening for hours at a time.
