The Grundig GUFSAT01HD is a Freesat satellite set-top box which allows you to receive free-to-air 'Freesat' satellite services. Once connected to your dish and TV, you'll be able to enjoy the large range on channels Freesat has to offer, inducing the new High Definition (HD) channels such as BBC HD and ITV HD with no subscription fee to pay.
Perfect for the digital switchover, the GUFSAT01HD can receive all existing freesat digital satellite channels. Not only that, but via its HDMI connection this magical box will let you view HD channels in all their glory and will even upscale standard definition channels to 720p or 1080i - a great way to get the best out of your HD Ready flatscreen. If you don't have a HD-Ready TV or an HDMI connection, don't panic, because the GUFSAT01HD also has Scart connectivity and will work fine with older sets. There's even a optical digital audio output which is perfect for connection to a home cinema system and allows you to enjoy Dolby Digital Surround sound (when broadcast). This little box of tricks is also perfect as an alternative to Freeview in areas with poor terrestrial TV reception, as Freesat can be received all over the UK providing you have a correctly installed dish.
