The Musical Fidelity V-DAC is a high-quality digital to analogue convertor (DAC), which takes digital audio from either optical, coaxial or USB input and outputs it as stereo analogue audio.
Ideal as a upgrade for the often inferior DACs found on cheaper CD/DVD players, the V-DAC lets you use your player as a transport and handles all the digital to analogue conversion. With the processing separated from the transport, you'll hear a real improvement in sound quality.
The V-DAC also features a USB input, which means it can be used to replace your computer's existing sound-card, delivering superior interference-free audio. Just plug the DAC into an available USB socket, connect the DAC to your hifi or stereo system and voilà - high fidelity music from your computer!
