The Sony STR-DA2400ES is a home cinema receiver packed with features. With 4 HDMI sockets and conversion and upscaling to 1080p from all inputs, the STRDA2400ES is designed for the high definition era. Faroudja scaling ensures that upscaled video will look fantastic, even on large screen TVs.
When used with a Blu-ray player the STRDA2400 sounds fantastic thanks to its on-board decoding of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. If your Blu-ray source won't output these signals the '2400 will also decode Linear PCM 7.1 channel high-definition audio too.
The good news doesn't stop there though; Sony have endowed the '2400 with a truly musical sound. Whether you're a fan of classical or contemporary music the STRDA2400 will give you a stirring performance full of detail and vigour.
