The Pioneer DVR-LX61D is more than a premium hard disk DVD recorder; it's an advanced media centre that enables you to play, record and store almost every kind of media format.
You can rip CDs to the hard disk (at 6 times normal speed) with automatic track naming via the built in database or, if connected, the DVRLX61 can go online to find the data for new CDs it doesn't know. You can also upload digital images, mp3 or windows media audio or even divX films that are stored on a disc or direct from a PC via either the USB input or the network connection.
Copy and edit footage from your camcorder via the DVRLX61D's DV-in, and, if the need arises, you can even print images via a directly connected printer. It's a swift, simply way of integrating your PC into your living room where your favourite films, television, music, JPEGs and other files can be stored on the hard disk.
The DVRLX61D is multi-format, giving you quality playback and recording on every DVD format, including DVD-R dual and double layer. The 250GB hard disk means that you could get up to 711 hours of recording time stored.
Picture quality is another hallmark of the DVR-LX61D, which features High Definition upscaling up to 1080p via its HDMI output. You're guaranteed the highest viewing resolution, regardless of the source and your display.
The DVRLX61D has an integrated Freeview DVB-T tuner, for a wide selection of free television and radio services. If you use pay TV, you can plug your smart card directly into the CI slot; the benefit is that you no longer require an additional decoder box. And if you're watching TV, time becomes less of a challenge, too. You can pause live TV, or use Chase Play – which allows you to playback the programme you're recording, whilst you're still recording the end!
Yet, despite all these advanced features, the Pioneer DVR-LX61D is easy to use; one simple remote gives you quick and easy access to all the functions you need.
