The Onkyo TX-SR706 (TXSR706) Home Cinema Amplifier is loaded with an advanced specification giving you fantastic quality from the latest high-definition audio and video sources.
Not only does this amp switch and convert all your video inputs to HDMI or component outputs, it enhances them with full 1080p upscaling courtesy of a Faorudja DCDi Cinema scaler chip. Furthermore this Onkyo has four HDMI inputs, meaning you can easily connect all your HD sources, with plenty of room for your system to grow in the future, through the amp to your flatscreen TV.
The TXSR706's high-current amplifiers deliver powerful performances from all types of soundtracks - including standard Dolby and DTS as well as the latest Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio that are found on Blu-rays. THX Select2 decoding enhances 5.1 tracks and upconverts to 7.1, for incredible AV from all your sources.
And the Onkyo TXSR706 AV receiver delivers easy, microphone setup, with Audyssey MultEQ® XT to correct room acoustic problems and to calibrate your speakers, ensuring the best performance no matter what your speaker and room configuration.
