The Logitech Squeezebox Boom is an all-in-one network music player with terrific functionality, superb acoustic performance and a compact design.
The Squeezebox Boom features both wireless and wired Ethernet networking allowing it to connect to your home network and broadband Internet connection. It can then connect to over 10,000 Internet radio stations via the SqueezeNetwork and stream a variety of music formats from your networked PC using the supplied SqueezeCentre software. You can also connect iPods and portable MP3/CD/MiniDisc players via the Boom's stereo line input.
The Boom delivers superb acoustics thanks to its digital amplifier and stereo 2-way speakers with bi-amplified design. It also features StereoXL technology which creates an immersing soundstage by widening the stereo image.
You can also use the Boom with other Squeezebox devices such as the Duet Controller or Squeezebox Wireless Client. Each device can play different music or they can be synchronised to play the same music in every room - great for parties!
