PlayTV is an innovative add-on for the Sony Playstation 3 (PS3). Just connect the PlayTV box to the PS3 via USB and plug an antenna into the PlayTV box and voilà - you can now watch and record Freeview on your PS3.
The PlayTV is also a twin tuner design, allowing you to watch one channel whilst recording another. You can even pause and rewind live TV! It's also incredibly simple to browse the TV schedules and set timer recordings, thanks to the easy to use EPG (Electronic Programme Guide). Play TV records to your PS3's hard disc and also displays a thumbnail graphical list of all your recordings.
If you have a Playstation Portable (PSP) as well as a PS3, then you can use the RemotePlay function to connect the PSP to the PS3 over the Internet and watch live TV or your stored PS3 recordings on your PSP, from anywhere in the world! You can even use the PSP to schedule new recordings on your PS3 back home.
