In the 79 series, Mission has continued its long tradition of designing innovative, high quality and stylish speakers that deliver superb acoustics, whilst remaining affordable.
At the top of the Mission 79 stereo speaker range are the 796s, a superior floor-standing stereo speaker that feature an innovative 3-way, bass reflex configuration. A large 165mm driver and a 25mm tweeter deliver a crystal clear and dynamic mid/high range, whilst at the bottom of the tall, sleek cabinet is a side-firing 200mm woofer which dramatically improves bass performance, without the merest hint of distortion. The speakers can be positioned so these drivers face outwards or inwards, whichever is best for the shape and size of your listening room.
Acoustic performance is enthralling. High frequencies are crisp and finely detailed, the mid-range is open and dynamic and the bass is full, tight and controlled. They're efficient too, delivering sharp dynamics and atmosphere, even at low volumes. The 796s weave a wonderfully involving soundstage that will bring your music to life.
