The Mordaunt Short Alumni 5.1 Speaker System is a stylish and sweet sounding home cinema surround sound package consisting of four Alumni 2 bookshelf/stand-mount speakers, an Alumni 5 centre and the Alumni 9 subwoofer.
Both the satellite and centre speakers feature curvaceous cabinets which not only look great but help to reduce standing waves and produce an unfettered and clear sound. Mordaunt Short's Continous Profile Cone (CPC) drivers are used all round. These dust-cap-free drivers help keep distortion to an absolute minimum and give the speaker's fascias a clean and smart appearance.
As a home cinema system, the Alumni 5.1 performs fantastically. Excellent integration between the speakers makes surround sound incredibly immersing so you'll feel like you're right in the middle of the action.
Perfectly matched both acoustically and aesthetically, the Alumni 5.1 package adds an extra touch of class to your living room and will keep you coming back for more with its superb sonic delivery.
