The Yamaha DSP-AX563 is a superb, 7.1 channel, home cinema amplifier with a full feature count, high quality design and excellent audio and video performance.
The DSPAX563 features two HDMI inputs and one output supporting 1080p resolutions and the 24 frames per second 'native film' format. Three high bandwidth component video inputs with upscaling to 1080i/720p make component sources look fantastic - perfect for DVD. The DSPAX563 decodes a host of formats including Dolby Digital/EX/Pro Logic II & DTS/ES/Neo:6/96/24. It also supports 7.1 channel, high definition audio up to 96kHz, decoded as linear PCM by the source device, e.g. a Blu-ray player. The external analogue input can be configured for 5.1 or, with the use of another input, 7.1 channels of audio, ensuring compatibility with both new and old equipment.
If you're a portable audio lover then there's more good news for you. The DSP AX563's front USB socket allows you to connect compatible memory sticks, MP3 players or portable hard discs and play MP3, WMA and wav audio files directly.
