The Linn Sneaky DS is a networked streaming media player with integrated amplifier. It marries traditional Linn audiophile quality and performance with modern networking and portable audio technology.
The Sneaky DS can be placed anywhere in your home and will stream your music from a networked device such as a computer or NAS storage device. The use of the uPnP system means compatibility with the majority of such devices. Able to play MP3, FLAC and WAV media formats, the Sneaky DS will give you full access to your music and can be controlled by uPnP control devices such as PCs, laptops and even wireless devices if you have wireless network connectivity.
The Sneaky DS will also connect to the Internet (providing a connection is available through your network), giving you access to thousands of Internet radio stations via the Shoutcast system.
There's also a high grade 2 x 20 watt amplifier built in so there's no need for a separate amplifier - just plug your speakers directly into the Sneaky DS! If you prefer, use the pre-amplified outputs to connect the Sneaky DS directly to your existing amplifier and speakers, providing a high-quality network client for playback through your existing hifi.
