The Pure Highway is an innovative in-car DAB tuner. Ever wished you could listen to DAB radio whilst out and about in your motor? Now you can with the Pure Highway DAB Radio. Using a suction cup mount, similar to those found on navigator devices, the Highway attaches to a convenient spot on your windscreen providing easy access to its controls. It then receives DAB radio through its built in antenna and re-transmits it on an FM frequency receivable by you car's radio! The transmitting frequency can be altered to allow interference free reception.
Ever wished you could listen to your iPod or MP3 player in the car, too? The Pure Highway will let you do that too! It features a stereo line (aux) input, to which you can connect your player. The Highway will then transmit the player's audio via FM in the same manner as DAB radio, so you can enjoy music from your MP3 player through your car's sound system.
The Highway can even be used as a portable DAB tuner outside of the car. It can be powered by two AA batteries and features a headphone socket for connection to your favourite headphones. When in the car, the Highway can be powered from your car's 12 volt power socket (cigarette lighter socket), using the supplied adaptor.
