High value, HD ready, perfectly matched, AV separates system consisting of the Toshiba SD-370E DVD Player with HD upscaling & HDMI output, the Denon AVR-1508 7.1 channel AV receiver with HDMI switching and the Tannoy EFX 5.1 Speaker System.
Thanks to the AVR-1508's 7 channel processing and the speaker upgrade options, this system is fully upgradable to full 7.1 by adding a pair of additional EFX satellites in the order box, at the foot of this page.

The Toshiba SD-370E DVD Player is a marvel for the money. Ultra-sleek and slim, on top of the standard DVD player features, Toshiba have crammed in DivX, MP3 and JPEG format playback (handy if you have albums of images, music or downloaded programmes to playback on your standard television).

DENON AVR-1508:
The Denon AVR-1508 is a sophisticated, yet affordable, name-brand AV receiver. Including features normally only found on more expensive models, the AVR1508 is excellent value for money.
At the heart of the Denon AVR-1508 is a 7 x 75 watt amplifier with full 7.1 channel surround sound output. Support for HD video makes the Denon AVR-1508 ideal for use with Blu-ray, HD-DVD and DVD players. Through HDMI 1.3a, the AVR1508 supports resolutions up to 1080p. The AVR 1508 features 2 sets of stereo outputs, allowing a second set of speakers to to placed in another room. Auto-microphone calibration is also included with useful Audyssey MultEQ equalisation which delivers the best performance from your speakers and room.
TANNOY EFX 5.1:
Tannoy's EFX 5.1 Speaker System is an elegant, top-value home cinema speaker package solution, consisting of four neat, wall/stand/free mount satellites, a centre speaker and an active subwoofer for low bass, in either black or silver finish. The EFX's ultra-wide frequency response makes them the ideal candidate for movies & music, including DVD-Audio & SACD.
Optional additional speakers and stands enable 6.1 or 7.1 upgrades and improved performance, whilst each satellite speaker is supplied with a wall-bracket, for flexible mounting in your room.
