The Audiolab 8000PPA is a reference quality turntable pre-amplifier. It is suitable for use with both moving coil (MC) or moving magnet (MM) turntables and features a special MCx30 stage designed for moving coil cartridges with a very low output.
Whatever the cartridge, the 8000PPA is built to wring every ounce of detail from the tiny, low-voltage signal delivered from your turntable. The PPA's ultra-low-noise circuit design and the tightest equalisation tolerances ensure accuracy without distortion.
If you have two decks or a turntable with dual arms and cartridges then the 8000-PPA is definitely for you, because it features two completely independent inputs, allowing for simultaneous hookup of both cartridges.

Load balance option for both inputs. The 8000PPA features advanced load matching presets to ensure compatibility with your cartridge/s. It may be the case that you'd wish to provide greater fine-tuning - perhaps because you own a bespoke cartridge design. You can connect bespoke electronics via the load connectors to enable this.

Some separates are supplied with low-quality, "giveaway" leads which will
get you going, however we recommend that you use high-quality leads, in order to
