The AVR-3808 is a high range AV receiver from Denon. It features a superb specification and a high quality construction. For a powerful central hub for your home cinema system, the AVR-3808 certainly delivers.
HDMI 1.3a sockets ensure connectivity with the latest HD plasmas, LCDs, Blu-ray, HD-DVD and DVD players. The Denon AVR 3808 will handle impressive resolutions up to 1080p and even supports the 24 frames per second 'native film' format. Faroudja DCDi video upscaling technology is also featured, so DVDs and other standard definition video will look better than ever. Both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD can be decoded on board allowing you to enjoy 7.1 channel ultra-clear surround sound.
Set-up and everyday use is easy thanks to the very attractive on-screen graphical interface allowing you to control and tweak every setting of the AVR3808. The Audyssey MultEQ XT auto-calibration system, which can easily be controlled using the graphical interface, effortlessly optimizes your speaker setup for maximum enjoyment.
The Denon AVR3808 also features networking capabilities, so you stream music (MP3, Windows Media Audio, AAC etc.) from your computer. If you have an Internet connection the AVR3808 can also access Internet radio, giving you 7000+ stations to choose from. In addition, a handy USB socket is located on the front of the machine for connection to compatible MP3 players, hard discs and digital cameras
A sophisticated touch-screen remote control and a separate second zone controller are also included in the package, allowing you to control the AVR-3808's amazing versatility and power from the comfort of your sofa.
