The Denon AVR-2808 is a high end AV receiver incorporating some very advanced technology. With an excellent specification, the finest build and design, the AVR-2808 is a powerful central hub for your home cinema system.
A multitude of connections ensures that you can connect all devices. At the top of the list are 2 HDMI 1.3a inputs and 1 output that handle HD video up to 1080p and the 24 frames per second 'original film' format. The HDMI connectivity means that you can also transport HD audio in the form of Dolby True-HD, DTS-HD and linear PCM. If you don't have HDMI equipment, fear not, because there are also component video, S-Video, composite video, 7.1ch analogue audio input and coaxial and optical digital audio in and out sockets. Want more? The AVR-2808 also supports multi-room configurations with a 7.1ch pre-out, zone 2 composite video and stereo out and a zone 3 stereo out.
Once everything is plugged in, set-up is easy thanks to the easy to use on-screen-display and the sophisticated Audyssey MultEQ XT auto-calibration system. The Denon AVR2808 upscales video up to 1080p using Faroudja DCDi technology, so the image output will be fantastic.
Including a touch-screen remote control and a separate second zone controller, the versatility and power of the AVR 2808 is guaranteed to amaze.
