The Marantz DV7001 is a high end DVD player and is leader of the Marantz pack. A superior quality construction using high grade components is complimented by an impressive array of features.
When it comes to formats, the DV7001 is the king of compatibility and will play DVD/-R/-RW/+R/+RW, DVD-Audio, Super Audio CDs, Super/Video CDs, DivX Ultra, MP3 and Windows Media Audio. There's not much you can throw at this machine that it won't play.
The DV-7001 is also HD-ready and features HDMI connectivity featuring Faroudja DCDi video upscaling up to 1080p, meaning that your DVDs will look better than ever on an LCD or plasma. Both digital and analogue 5.1 channel surround is supported so a DVDs Dolby Digital or DTS soundtrack will sound awesome. The device also features Dolby Pro Logic II decoding and creates a immersing 'virtual surround' sound using only stereo speakers.
Elegant in appearance but built like a tank and featuring a very impressive specification, the DV7001 is Marantz's flagship DVD player.
