Consisting of two pairs of Wharfedale Evo2-30 floor standing front and rear speakers, for superb soundstaging with both movies and music; the matching, high-performance Wharfedale Evo2-Centre speaker and the highly-rated Wharfedale SW250 Subwoofer, the Evo2-5.1 Reference home cinema speaker system delivers the complete home cinema experience.
Based on the 5-Star-Rated Wharfedale Evolution 30s, the Wharfedale Evo2-30s are top-value floor-standing loudspeakers, combining gorgeous styling with practical design enhancements and outstanding sound quality. The base plinth and spikes are built to incredibly high standards, enabling very easy speaker setup, a low centre of gravity (which improves speaker stability and imaging) and impressive speaker rigidity.
Extended high-frequency performance thanks to a newly improved tweeter design delivers clarity and detail from your centre channel, ensuring that dialogue and action are cleanly delivered. Bass soundstaging is always full and powerful, thanks to the high-end, twin Kevlar drive units.
And to complete the picture, the sealed and curved cabinet construction of the SW250 Subwoofer ensures superb rigidity, enabling the 250 watt amplifier to deliver a powerful, tight and very articulate bass performance - the perfect blend for high-quality hifi and home cinema systems.
A brilliantly integrated package, with real-wood-veneered stereo and centre speakers for terrific looks, which delivers on style, performance and value.
You can upgrade to 6.1 with an additional, rear centre speaker, or to 7.1 by
adding either a pair of Bipolar "Diamond 9.DFS" rears, which fire sounds in two
different directions, giving you a wider spread and soundstage than conventional
rear speakers, or another pair of Evo2-30 floorstanders.
