The Pioneer VSX-LX70 is an extremely sophisticated home cinema AV receiver jammed packed with exciting features such as multi-room and networking capabilities. The sleek, clean exterior and smart gloss black finish belie the awesome power. Despite its many functions, the VSX-LX70 is easy to use thanks to the included LCD remote control which not only controls the VSX-LX70 but your other devices too! A huge number of devices can be connected to the VSXLX70. The receiver features a myriad of connectors including 4 HDMI inputs, 3 sets of component video inputs and 4 optical and 2 coaxial digital audio inputs. The Pioneer VSXLX70 is also HD ready and will handle 1080p video. Decoding of HD audio is no problem either as, apart from Dolby Digital and DTS, the VSXLX70 will also decode both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, the latest lossless formats as used in Blu-ray and HD-DVD which, bit for bit, match the sound of the original studio recording. 7 speaker outputs allows for a full 7.1 surround sound experience or 5.1 with bi-amplified front speakers - advantageous if your stereo speakers are biwireable and you like good music! Dual zone configurations are also possible with the extra outputs and control sockets, allowing seamless multi-room operation. You can even connect the VSXLX70 to your computer via the Ethernet network socket, allowing you to directly stream media formats such as MP3 or WMA files to your living room. It also means that you can connect to Internet radio stations, giving you an almost inexhaustible amount of listening material.
