The Sony DAV-IS10 davis10 is a complete home cinema system solution, enabling
you to hit the ground running with everything you need to play DVDs on standard
or high-resolution televisions and enjoy exciting home cinema sound.
Five, tiny satellite speakers deliver all the detail and midrange required from
demanding action soundtracks, with powerful bass delivered from the DAV-IS10's
dual-amplifier/dual-driver active subwoofer. The DVD output is delivered via
HDMI (the latest, highest quality connection) with sharp, upscaled
high-definition resolution pictures (or by analogue video formats such as
component or composite), making the DAVIS10 the perfect match for the latest,
HD-ready flatscreen displays and older televisions, too.
Indeed, so impressive is the integration of the speakers that, despite the
minuscule proportions of the DAVIS10's satellite speakers (and the included
free-standing/wall-mount options), the entire Sony DAV-IS10 Home Cinema System
will leave you wondering how Sony delivers such an impressive soundstage from
such small boxes.
You have the option to add a "Multi-region upgrade", in the order box below. As
standard, the DAVIS10 will play all DVDs bought in the UK and Europe (known as
"Region 2"). This upgrade enables the playback of discs bought in the rest of
the world (all other DVD regions) and the cost simply addresses the time it
takes us to carry out this upgrade.
You can also add a pair or two of the matching Sony WSIS10F floor stands, which are specifically designed to match the DAVIS10's speakers.
