The Pioneer HTP-GS1 is an AV receiver and 5.1 speaker package which, although designed with the Microsoft Xbox 360 games console in mind, is also ideal for those wishing to create an affordable home cinema system from an existing TV and DVD player. The ergonomic design and white finish of the HTP-GS1 looks great and perfectly matches the Xbox's look.
The system features a 100 watt per channel amplifier and a true 5.1 speaker system (5 satellites and 1 subwoofer for powerful bass). The included system remote is fully compatible with the Xbox and Windows Media Centre Edition, so you can control your HTP-GS1, Xbox 360, and PC media centre from one handset; perfect for watching DVDs or other media. The system also includes an FM & AM radio tuner featuring RDS.
The HTPGS1 has been designed to deliver high quality audio from DVD or CD sources and also to get the best performance from compressed audio such as that used in games, or files stored on the Xbox hard drive or PC.
