The DVD1740 plays recordable format DVD & CD discs, including S/VCD format, JPEG photo CDs, MP3, Windows Media and DivX formats, all upscaled to HD resolution (up to 1080p), enabling you to enjoy the popular audio and video formats available by download or those that you make yourself at the best quality, from the comfort of your sofa.
And to ensure best performance, the Denon DVD-1740 features high-grade video and audio DACs (which convert the digital information on the disc to the picture and sound output to your TV and amplifier) deliver resolution and detail in excess of the 1740's modest price tag via HDMI digital video interface, component video or scart (with RGB/S-Video or composite video support).
