The Logitech Harmony Radio Frequency (RF) Extender is for use with the Logitech Harmony 895 and 1000 Universal Remote Controls. It connects to the remote using radio and converts its signals to infrared (IR), allowing you to control devices such as DVD players, VCRs, Hi-Fis, and other IR equipment without direct line of sight. Place the extender inside a cabinet with your devices and control them while they are neatly hidden away, or put it with devices in other rooms and control them through walls or floors!
The Harmony RF Extender is easy to install and has a 30 metre (100 foot) range, so you can be sure that all your devices are reachable and controllable.

Unless specified under "Supplied accessories", above, high-quality leads are not included.
Some separates are supplied with low-quality, "giveaway" leads which will
get you going, however we recommend that you use high-quality leads, in order to
maximise the performance of your system. In the case of speakers, cables are not
included unless specified. Recommended accessories are displayed on the next page, after
you click "Add to basket", below.
