The KiSS 1600 may look like just another slimline DVD player, but this compact player does much, much more. Using wired ethernet or wireless networking (both supported), the KiSS 1600 acts as your home's media hub. It connects to your networked PC and streams audio and video directly. This allows you to play music and movies storied on your computer, directly on your TV and output the sound through your home cinema system. It can even stream media directly from the internet, so you can enjoy services such as Internet Radio, online gaming, and more.
Of course the KiSS 1600 will play DVD discs and also supports many other formats including DivX, Windows Media, and Nero Digital files. It also features a USB port for connection to compatible storage devices such as an external USB hard drive or a USB memory stick.
Connection to your TV or home cinema system is easy thanks to an array of connections, including HDMI for the sharpest and cleanest picture. The 1600 will upscale picture resolution from standard definition to High Definition 720p or 1080i, so they will look great on you HDTV, and digital audio output is also supported. These features make the KiSS 1600 an affordable yet impressive network media player.
