The Pioneer VSX-LX50 is an extremely sophisticated, feature packed home cinema AV receiver. The sleek, clean exterior and smart gloss black finish belie the power of the beast within. Despite its many functions however, the VSX-LX50 is easy to use thanks to the included LCD remote control which will not only control the VSX-LX50 but your other devices too! It's also programmable so that a series of commands can be executed with just the touch of a button.
A wide variety of devices can be connected to the VSXLX50. The receiver features a myriad of connectors including 2 HDMI inputs, 3 sets of component video inputs and 4 optical and 2 coaxial digital audio inputs. The Pioneer VSXLX50 is also HD ready and will handle 1080p video. Decoding of HD audio is no problem either as, apart from Dolby Digital and DTS, the VSXLX50 will also decode both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, the latest lossless formats as used in Blu-ray and HD-DVD which, bit for bit, match the sound of the original studio recording. 7 speaker outputs allows for a full 7.1 surround sound experience or 5.1 with either bi-amplified front speakers or multi-room configurations. The Pioneer VSXLX50 is also THX certified, a guarantee of reference audio!
