The Onkyo TX-SR875E (TXSR875E) Home Cinema Amplifier is an AV receiver with an awesome specification, future-proofed and capable of serving as a multimedia hub for the most demanding or complex systems, delivering the best audio processing available and the highest spec video performance and upscaling.
Video switching and upconversion to component and HDMI (plus S-Video <> composite conversion) is enhanced with full 1080p resolution upconversion of all inputs, taking any standard definition video signal and converting it to high-definition progressive scan for the most stable, sharp picture on the latest flatscreen displays.
With over 910 watts of amplification, The Onkyo TXSR875 delivers powerful soundstaging from Dolby and DTS decoding. THX Ultra2 decoding enhances 5.1 tracks and upconverts to 7.1, for incredible AV from all your sources. This awesome power can be used for a 7.1 system plus a second zone of speakers. The main 7.1 zone can be configured for 5.1 speakers, with the spare main channel outputs either bridged to nearly double the stereo speaker amplification or set to biamp compatible (biwireable) main speakers, for superior stereo soundstaging.
And for a sophisticated Onkyo receiver, a sophisticated Onkyo remote controller, with learning compatibility and "macro functions" giving numerous functions from a single button press.
